What a great superbowl! First of all Kelly Clarkson did a great job singing the National Anthem - very classy, perfect - she should do it every year - so much better than Christina from last year. Second what did you think of the half time show - Madonna was great - Vogue is one of my favorite songs of hers and also Like A Prayer. I didn't really like the other performers that she had on but otherwise she did great - can still sing, dance and perform!! She still has it at 53!!

Tis the Season of Getting Organized

I have been getting rid of things in my house - I do not want to be that person whose things are in boxes at the flea market - old trinkets, pictures of family members you name it. I have been going through books, games, knick knacks everything- I am downsizing. If you aren't using it by now you never will. Here are some great organization ideas.

Best Dressed of the SAG awards
Here is my list for the best dressed women of the SAG awards - the cast of help - Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Emma Stone and Jessica Chastian all looked gorgeous - Viola Davis looked so goddess like- Octavia Spencer's dress complimented her body shape perfectly, Emma Stones - short girl dress was perfect for her age and Jessica Chastian looked stunning in that blue Calvin Klein dress and her sapphire earrings were to die for - I want those! Get ready for the Oscars - they are coming.
My New Favorite Group - She & Him - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
I have found a new group - She and Him is an American Indie Duo consisting of Zooey Deschanel (vocals, piano and ukelele) M. Ward (guitar and production). Ward, having heard Deschanel sing previously in the film Elf, was surprised to learn that she wrote songs herself, but hadn't pursued a career in music. Deschanel comments in an interview with Venus Zine, “I always thought I would be able to sing and act, but at a certain point, it became difficult for me to share the music part. So I was writing a ton of music, but not really doing anything with it. I didn’t really know exactly who to collaborate with ... until I met Matt, and everything seemed to fall into place.”[7] Deschanel had actually done years' worth of home demos, but was shy about becoming a big-name celebrity.[8] On a whim, she decided to send them to Ward.[6] Ward called her a short time later, telling her that he would like to record her songs properly, and their band She & Him was formed.[citation needed] Deschanel said in an interview: "I always have loved music, ever since I was really little. I just loved to sing." (wikipedia). They just came out with a christmas album and I bought it this past Christmas - it was the hit of the new year's eve party that I went to. Everyone loved their voices. I also got a second album of theirs.
You should definitely give them a try.
Retreat Home

Today on label love I wanted to show you a new label, Retreat Home, that I discovered from another blogger Torie Jayne. Look at that pretty duck egg blue caravan (trailer) called 'Whimsy'. It is filled with cute applique cushions, peg bags and aprons, and galvanised planters.
To see more gorgeous, inspiring shots check out their Spring 2012 Catalogue. You can also buy everything you see at their online store, Retreat Home.
