While I was out in Los Angeles we went to the Griffith Observatory - anyone who is out there should visit this beautiful landmark. A couple of years ago it had a 93 million dollar overhaul. You can see some beautiful scenes of downtown LA from the observatory. Also a little bit of movie history concerning the observatory - Rebel without a cause was actually filmed up there and they have a statue of James Dean there.
